A new addition to the Center's staff, Xiao-guang Fan has brought his T'ai Chi expertise from China. T'ai Chi is an exercise of the body and mind. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chi is the vital energy flowing in the body; once the flow of Chi is blocked, pain and illness occur.
T'ai Chi uses the mind and movements to guide Chi circulating throughout the body, thus helping to clear the blockage and improve health. With concentrated mind, relaxed body and flowing movements, T'ai Chi is also an easy, yet powerful Meditation.
Xiao-guang has practiced T'ai Chi for over 15 years. He studied Chen Style T'ai Chi with grand master Zhiqiang Feng, the President of Chen Style T'ai Chi Association of Beijing; he also studied Qi Gong and Wudang T'ai Chi with 77-years old Taoist priest Jie Ma.
Xiao-guang is a member of Chinese Wushu Association, and a T'ai Chi instructor certified by Beijing Wushu Association.
Xiao-guang offers group and private lessons of Chen Style and Yang Style T'aiChi.
