The Center for Natural Cures, located in Bethesda, Maryland is dedicated to improving its patients’ health and well-being using natural therapies and cutting-edge technologies including the revolutionary Asyra® and BioSET™ systems. This site aims to inform you about what the Center has to offer.
The Center is headed by Sharon Fan, a Chinese physician, who has more than 25 years’ experience in medical research and treatment. She is a graduate of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a leading medical school of holistic care in China. She completed her residency at Xi Yuan Hospital, China Academy of Traditional Medicine, in 1985. Thereafter she worked as an internist until 1988, when she came to the US to pursue post-graduate study in biomedical sciences at The Catholic University of America. She was subsequently employed at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and the Naval Medical Research Institute, where she did advanced research in immune disorders and infectious diseases.
In early 2000, Sharon started receiving advanced training in bio-energetic medicine and has since incorporated high-technology into natural healing to help her clients to achieve optimal health and vitality.
Sharon is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed to practice in the State of Maryland.
